We set a Distributor up with a registered business, .................................Valley Violets, (name of your choice - to suit your area), and all relevant registrations needed to operate the business. Each Distributor has an allotted area (which is quite large) within which the Distributor can advertise, promote, canvas, sell and display their products any way they wish. Each Distributor grows their own plants by the Valley Violet method from the initial stock included in the purchase of the business and buys their other products (potting mix, nutrient, pots & reservoirs etc.) from us at wholesale prices. Distributors are fully trained here in Tumut and further technical and practical backup and support is always on hand. We have a joint advertising campaign where mail and other enquiries are directed to the local Distributor. The plants are all grown under artificial lighting by the wick system and need to be grown indoors, in a part of the home, shop or an insulated shed where excessive heat and cold can be regulated if necessary. Full price of a distributorship includes cost of Business Name, registrations, training, and all the initial plants and stock etc. A distributorship in not a franchise, so there are no ongoing costs other than the purchase of saleable products as required, at wholesale prices. Distributors enter into an agreement with Valley Violets to protect the Distributor’s exclusive areas and to maintain a high level of quality control of Valley Violet products.
